Past Research Sites:
Vatoharanana bush camp in the Ranomafana National park

Past Research Projects Include:
Female dominance in three lemur species: Varecia, Propithecus and Eulemur fulvus

Past Research Focus:
The intention of this project is to document the variation in the expression of female dominance in three lemur species, the ruffed lemur, the diademed sifaka, and the brown lemur. We are currently examining how females may maintain feeding priority in conjuction with or in the absence of female dominance, and hope to identify what ecological, reproductive, and demographic variables lead to this variation.
