Research & Conservation

in Madagascar

Graduate opportunities

Dr. Wright occasionally has openings for graduate students to work with her in Stony Brook University's IDPAS program, or in the Department of Ecology and Evolution. These opportunities are highly competitive so we suggest that you get in touch with Dr. Wright well in advance of the time that you wish to apply to graduate school. Possible funding sources listed in the "Quick links" section of this page.

Undergraduate opportunities

ICTE has opportunities for undergraduates at SBU to work with us. Dr. Wright also teaches a number of undergraduate courses in Anthropology at SBU. In addition, undergraduates from across the country can participate in our study abroad program in Madagascar, which is offered in both the summer and fall semesters. We encourage undergraduates to seek funding to undertake research both in our laboratory at SBU and also in the field in Ranomafana National Park, Madagascar. (Please see "Quick links" to the left.)
