Identification

Dark green upperparts, wings and tail. yellow underparts and a yellow stripe over the eye. Juvenile plumage duller.

Ecology

Thought to have similar habits to Oxylabes cinereiceps, ie. to live in ground cover of dense forest and to feed on insects. (UICN 1990)
