Mammalia -> Chiroptera (Microchiroptera) -> Molossidae -> Tadarida (Mops) leucostigma
Endemic to Madagascar. Originally described as Mops leucostigma, then Mops was made a subgenus of Tadarida. Thought at one point to be a subspecies of T. (Mops) condylurus in Africa.
